Adhyatma Sahitya Vikas Sanstha

Adhyatma Sahitya Vikas Sanstha was officially registered under Rajasthan Societies Registration Act on 23rd November, 1973. Sanstha was established with the following key objectives:

• To encourage and promote the creation of spiritual literature, particularly in languages widely spoken across India.
• To provide dedicated spaces and support for research activities aligned with the organization’s mission.
• To organize literary events such as meetings, seminars, and exhibitions that foster cultural and intellectual engagement.
• To inspire the younger generation through workshops focused on spiritual education and the cultivation of moral values.
• To publish literary works under the guidance of a committee comprising members of the organization or individuals appointed by the Director, recognized for their intellectual insight, spiritual depth, and moral integrity.
• To raise funds for fulfilling the organization’s objectives through donations, book publishing, and related activities.
• To strictly abstain from participation in any form of political activity.
• To ensure that no member derives personal financial gain from the activities of the organization.

At the time of registration, a comprehensive charter was established for the Sanstha. This charter detailed the duties and rights of each member and defined the operational framework of the organization. These documents were officially enclosed as part of the registration process.

The charter reflected the long-term vision of the founding members and played a crucial role in preserving the original spirit and mission of the Sanstha. Even after five decades, this clarity of roles and responsibilities has helped sustain the organization’s values and passion.

The Sanstha classifies its members into the following three categories:

1. Sarankshak Sadasya (Patron Members)
2. Aajeevan Sadasya (Lifetime Members)
3. Adya Sadasya (General Members)

A democratic process was instituted to ensure transparency and accountability in leadership. The Director and members of the Working Committee are elected every five years through a structured electoral process.
